Improperly placed septic tanks can disrupt the energy flow of a property and pose health risks to the residents. The presence of wastewater can create negative radiations that affect the occupants, leading to health problems and overall discomfort.
How an Incorrectly Placed Septic Tank Affects Energy
Septic tanks, by their nature, are associated with disposal and waste. West of North-West (WNW)

- Place the tank in the South-East, South, or West of North-West for optimal energy balance.
- Ensure the outlet of the septic tank is directed towards the North or West. Avoid any outlet in the South direction to prevent negative energy.
- Maintain the septic tank a few feet away from the plot's boundary wall.
- Ensure it is constructed lower than the plinth level of the building to maintain the natural flow of water and energy.
DON’Ts:
- Avoid placing the septic tank in the North, East, or North-East. These directions can lead to severe health and energy disturbances.
- Do not position the septic tank directly in front of the main entrance of the house, as this is considered inauspicious.
- Avoid constructing any living areas such as bedrooms, Pooja rooms, or kitchens directly above the septic tank.
- Ensure that the septic tank does not touch the boundary wall or the plinth of the building to maintain a proper energy flow.
