It is mentioned in the scriptures and Vedas that Rudrabhishek is the best means for worshiping Lord Shiva. In Rudrabhishek, Rudra Paath including the entire 8 chapters of Rudrashtadhyayi and 2 Shantidhyay is called Shadanga Paath. Whereas the eleven repetitions of the fifth and eighth chapters of the ShadangaPaath is called NamakChamak Vidhi. Due to excessive use of the word “Namah” in the fifth chapter and “Chame” in the eighth chapter, it is called salt shine.

By doing Rudrabhishek, all the bad deeds of our previous births are destroyed. All problems like untimely death, incurable diseases, eyesight defects, ghost/evil spirits, obstacles or the defects caused by planets also get resolved.
